Job Summary:

The Senior Medical Director & VP of Quality will oversee and lead all aspects of clinical quality for Workit Health. In addition, this physician leader will lead clinical innovation and growth, including the development of new clinical programs and the expansion of existing clinical programs into new markets. This role provides strategic decision-making, clinical leadership, and operational execution to meet key quality and business objectives.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the measurement and continual improvement of clinical quality, including the development and implementation of a strategic plan for clinical quality
  • Lead clinical innovation and growth through by developing of new clinical services and expanding existing services into new markets
  • Lead and supervise a national team of collaborating physicians
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Medical Officer and other key clinical and non-clinical leaders in the organization
  • Provide direct patient care, including through supervisory collaboration with advanced practice providers

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience, including progressive medical leadership roles
  • Board certification in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry
  • Active medical license and willingness to obtain licensure in additional states
  • Competency in process improvement and systems thinking
  • Enthusiasm for clinical innovation and program development, including the use of technology and virtual-first models of care delivery
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in leading teams, including performance management, training, influence, and change management
  • Experience developing and implementing clinical processes and standards
  • Experience in working with regulatory and accrediting bodies
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Joy for learning and improving
  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong business acumen
